Who we are. This website and newsletter are operated by Ohana Estates Ltd., a private company incorporated in Israel (company no. 517366613), trading as Sunday Steady ("we", "us"). Ohana Estates Ltd. is the controller of your personal data (and, under Israeli law, the controller of the database). Registered office: 13 HaRekhes Blvd., Modi'in 7178628, Israel. What we collect. When you sign up for our free checklist or newsletter, we collect your first name and email address. Our email provider also records technical data such as sign-up time, IP address, and whether emails are opened or links are clicked. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. This service is intended for adults.

Why we use it and our legal basis. We use your data to send the checklist you requested and, if you confirm your subscription, our emails about emergency preparedness and our products. Our legal basis is your consent (GDPR Art. 6(1)(a)). You can withdraw consent at any time by clicking "unsubscribe" in any email.

Who we share it with. We use Kit (ConvertKit LLC, United States) to store subscriber data and send emails, acting as our processor. Our website and the mobile kit are hosted by Cloudflare, Inc., which processes technical data such as IP addresses to deliver and protect the pages. We do not sell or rent your personal information, and we do not "share" it for cross-context behavioral advertising as defined in California law. We may disclose data if required by law.

The mobile kit. The phone version of the Family Emergency Plan Kit (sundaysteady.com/app) saves everything you enter on your own device only. Nothing you type is sent to us, and we cannot see, collect or restore your plan. A backup file you create is your own: it is saved where you choose, and we never receive it unless you decide to send it to us. The mobile kit has no analytics and no advertising trackers.

International transfers. Your data is stored in the United States. Where required, transfers are made under appropriate safeguards offered by our provider (such as Standard Contractual Clauses). [VERIFY Kit's current transfer mechanism]

How long we keep it. Until you unsubscribe, plus a short period to record your unsubscribe request, or as required by law.

Your rights. Depending on where you live (including the EU/UK, California and Israel), you may have the right to access, correct, delete or receive a copy of your data, to object to or restrict processing, and to withdraw consent. To exercise these rights, email support@sundaysteady.com. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights. If you are in the EU/UK, you may complain to your local data protection authority.

Cookies. Our sign-up pages use only the cookies our email provider needs to operate the form and measure email performance. The mobile kit uses one functional cookie to remember that your device has entered the access code; it holds no personal information.

Changes. We will post any changes on this page with a new "Last updated" date.

Purchases on Etsy. If you buy our products on Etsy, Etsy's own privacy policy applies to your purchase data. We use your Etsy order information only to fulfill and support your order, and we never add Etsy buyers to our mailing list without their separate consent.

Purchases on Payhip. If you buy directly from us through Payhip, Payhip and our payment provider (PayPal) process your order and payment under their own privacy policies, and we receive your name, email address and order details. We use them only to deliver and support your order, and we add you to our mailing list only if you tick a separate, unticked box to join it.
